Week 5: Aperture and Shutter speed

WEEK 4: Aperture and Shutter speed

This week I had used the cameras for the first time, thus I had no experience with how to get a good picture. Learning the settings for the camera was fairly easy and I'm sure with more practice I can improve my abilities. This was more of a learning and understanding experience. We talked about aperture, shutter speed, and the affects that these have on the picture we capture. Even now it can be hard to find a good balance between the aperture and shutter speed but when we take more pictures the difference will be more visible. If the aperture is too high the picture can be quite dark and the same would apply for the shutter speed. If the shutter speed is too low the picture will be very bright and blurry, with a higher aperture the picture will be very bright as well. After finding a good balance of aperture and shutter speed the pictures can look well and be clear and have the right lighting.

The following displays some pictures I took to understand more about what different apertures and shutter speeds change about your photo.
